Pantai Murni (Pure Beach) is located in Yan Besar town, Yan District which is about 32 km from Sungai Petani town. The beach is managed by Majlis Daerah Yan (MDY), offers an excellent panoramic view of islands such as Pulau Bidan, Pulau Bunting and Pulau Songsong. Photography enthusiasts should be delighted by the sight especially during sunset is the best time for capturing the spectacular shots of the scenery. The basic facilities available here are car park, food stalls, resting bench, children playground and toilets. There are wide-range array of spicy Malaysian and Kedah favourites, with the best choices from the varied preparations of fresh seafood such as chilli crabs, grilled squids, fish or prawns available at Pantai Murni Esplanade food stalls. For visitors who wish to stay overnight may check out for the nearby chalets available at reasonable prices.  | |
