Seri Perigi Waterfall
Seri Perigi Recreation Park is located in Yan district, Kedah. It is about 42 km from Sungai Petani town via Route K1 to Singkir Laut, towards Yan Kechil town. Along the journey to the park, visitors will have the opportunity to have a glimpse of the pictureque islands of Pulau Bidan and Pulau Telor when cruising along the coastal road of Tanjung Jaga . The park has a beautiful two-tier waterfall that cascades 100 metres down a rocky steep slopes as the stream flows from atop of Gunung Jerai. Usually after heavy rain, its fall is more impressive with tremendous amount of water pounding and splashing down as it is also known to be the highest waterfall in the state of Kedah. The layers of rocks are slippery and dangerous where a caution signboard is posted at the park by the Yan District Council as a reminder to visitors of the risks. Basic facilities such as car parks, rest benches, toilets, huts are provided. There is also a footbridge built over the stream that offers convenience to visitors crossing over to the other end.
