Pendang Lake Resort is one of a famous Lake Recreational Resort and training center, ideally located near the Pendang town at 50 km from Sungai Petani's city. The land area size of this resort is 30 acres comprises of a pictureque man-made lake of 20 acres, whereby its remaining 10 acres are developed with buildings and recreation facilities area. The resort was formerly known as Pendang Rest House which was wholly owned by Majlis Daerah Pendang (MDP). Upon privatisation, the resort is refurbished and managed by Pendang Lake Resort Sdn. Bhd. with a brand new look. Visitors will now enjoy a comfort stay, blends with a soothing and tranquil environment of the beautiful man-made lake at the site. Facilities provided by the resort are such as camp sites, chalets, rooms, surau, meeting halls and a dining hall. In addition, a variety of optional activities are also offered such as commando obstacle track, flying fox, kayaking, jogging track and many more providing an endless array of fun on your vacation.
