Peranginan Sik (Taman Peranginan Sik)
Peranginan Sik or Taman Peranginan Sik was once a major tourist attraction in Kedah, Malaysia. The recreational park is also known as "Rimba Takwa", features numerous waterfalls, different varieties of trees and landscapes that making it a popular tourist destination. Visitors come to this park all through the year to enjoy its natural beauty and to relax in the shades of its huge trees. Taman Peranginan Sik was built under the supervision of YTM Tunku Fariddudin Haji in the year 1964. Today, however the large portion of the park has been converted into a training camp for National Service (Khidmat Negara) and public is restricted to enter into the area, while its remaining portion were not well-maintained and left in a poor condition.
