Permaipura Golf And Country Club is one of Kedah's peaceful haven, exclusively for golfers who quests for a challenging, tough, championship course. Strategically located in Bedong with beautiful surroundings that set against panaromic Gunung Jerai, the highest peak of Kedah. It is about 12 km to the north of Sungai Petani town. The golf club has a land area of 317 acres with sprawling 18 hole golf course manoeuvres through placid lakes, strategic sand traps and varied species of trees, features wide and narrow fairways, water in play on most holes and contoured greens to baffle even the most seasoned players. Facilities provided at the clubhouse include a pro shop with the latest in golf equipment and accessories. Air-conditioned changing rooms with lockers and a two tee layer driving range. There are no chalets or hotel within the golf club area, however the closest hotel available is the Hotel Sapphire, which is situated along the Federal Route 1 right at the junction to the golf club in Bedong.
