Cinta Sayang Golf & Country Resort  is a 4-star Golf Resort located at 4 km to the northeast of Sungai Petani town. It was founded and opened by HRH Sultan of Kedah in 1989. The sprawling 190 acres of  land was once a home to massive rubber plantations on sloppy hills in Sungai Petani, which was referred as EUPE estate during the 70's.  Gunung Jerai (1380 m above sea level), the highest peak of Kedah can be seen miles around as the backdrop of the golf course.

Today, the golf course sits within the residential estate of Taman Ria Jaya has developed itself  into becoming one of the most popular golfing destinations in the Northern Malaysia  as  the  first 18-hole international class golf resort.  Its course layout that has abundance of water hazards with huge lakes, strategically placed bunkers, tricky greens and undulating fairways is enough to create an ultimate challenge for golf enthusiasts.

It is also popularly known as the one stop centre resort in the North, a venue for all ages, be it for golf, leisure, vacation, meeting, convention, sports or fun.
