The Golden Jubilee Park (Taman Jubli Emas) is located in Jalan Suka Menanti, near to the new High Court Complex in Alor Setar, Kedah. It was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reign of the 27th ruler of Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah and was official opened by His Highness Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah on Tuesday, the 9th of September,2008.

The beautiful landscaped park with a size of 20 hectares were partly funded by the private sector and the public at a cost of RM40 millions.The park features a Golden Jubilee monument, series of  musical and animated fountains, a skate park,a man-made lake and a mural to illustrate a thousand years of royal history.

The Golden Jubilee monument standing at a height of 20 metres has five "keris" (daggers) sculptures that signifies Tuanku Abdul Halim’s 50-year reign. In addition, there are also a total number of 28 engraved stones exhibit  in the park to represent the history of the Kedah’s 28th rulers.

Other facilities provided by the park are children playground, sitting benches, rest huts and its parking area can accommodate for 3,000 cars. The park gate is opened only after 5.00 PM. The best part is visitors will enjoy free admission and no parking charges.
